Wayne Hamfest The 2012 Fort Wayne Hamfest & Computer Expo and the 2012 Indiana State A.R.R.L. Convention will be held on November 17th and 18th at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum and Exposition Center, located at 4000 Parnell Avenue in Fort Wayne (at the corner of Parnell and Coliseum Blvd). Click here to see a contact list of this years hamfest general chairman and various managers.A little history about our 2011 event ....This past year we enjoyed many fine forums and exhibits, along with a flea market of almost 600 tables, which included the following manufacturers: Ameritron, MFJ, HyGain, Mirage, Vectronics, and ICOM. We had both new and used dealers for radio equipment, computers, electronics and general computer and electronic supplies.And our plans for 2012 ....The 2012 Fort Wayne Hamfest & Computer Expo, and Indiana ARLL State Convention will be open to the public from 9 AM to 4 PM on Saturday November 17th, and from 9 AM to 3 PM on Sunday, November 18th. Admission is only $6.00 per person (good for both days), or $4.00 for just Sunday, and there is plenty of parking in a large, paved parking lot, but please note that the Coliseum charges a $4.00 parking fee. Children 11 and under are free with an adult.We will once again be offering VE testing. See the Forums/VE test page for details. We have several forums each day, on many subjects relating to amateur radio and electronics. We will also be welcoming several representatives from the American Radio Relay League.
