Fort Wayne Hamfest
November 13-14, 2021

The 2021 Fort Wayne Hamfest will be held on November 13th and 14th at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum and Exposition Center, located at 4000 Parnell Avenue in Fort Wayne (at the corner of Parnell and Coliseum Blvd). 

The 2021 ARRL Central Division Convention will be held at the Hamfest.

There will be DXCC, WAS, WAC, VUCC, WAZ card checking at the ARRL table

There will be a Zoom presentation about the ARRL Field Organization by Steve Ewald WV1X (ARRL Field Organization Supervisor)  - see the forum schedule

The Youth Activity event (by Vicky Luetzelschwab AE9YL) will be building a Morse Code finger keyer. It runs from 10AM to 2PM. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

There will be license testing Saturday morning-- VE Testing

There will be no Saturday evening banquet this year

The Coliseum is recommending the use of masks, but they are not mandated

Another feature is the Buy It, Test It station near the announcers platform.

The 2020 Hamfest was not held due to Covid restrictions.

There are no restrictions for 2021 although masks are suggested.

And our plans for 2021 ....

The 2021 Fort Wayne Hamfest will be open to the public from 9 AM to 4 PM on Saturday November 13th, and from 9 AM to 2 PM on Sunday, November 14th. Admission is only $6.00 per person for Saturday. Sunday admission will be free. Children 11 and under are free with an adult. Tickets are available only at the door, no advance ticket sales.

There is plenty of parking in a large, paved parking lot, but please note that the Coliseum now charges a $8.00 parking fee every day.

We have several forums on Saturday, on many subjects relating to amateur radio and electronics and VE testing is planned for Saturday morning.

We will also be welcoming several representatives from the American Radio Relay League.
